No Small Parts follows Bernice, Betty, Suzie, Melanie and Paul as they rehearse their ensemble roles in "Hills of Love". If you have ever been in a musical or are a fan of musicals, you will extra love this show!
Features four female leads and one male lead, supporting roles that can be played by any gender and a customizable ensemble. Very budget friendly! Since the show is about
the rehearsal process, actors may mime the use of props instead of using real ones, chairs or stage blocks may be used in place of show quality scenery, costumes are just regular clothing actors would wear to rehearsal. There is one more elaborate costume, an apple. But, since the show is taking place during the rehearsal process, the apple costume doesn't have to be elaborate or even completely finished!

Friendly, super positive. Very enthusiastic and loves acting...

Betty Anderson
Alto, "Mrs. Smith"
Bernice’s best friend. Friendly and kind, but a little more down
to earth than her friend Bernice. This is her first time being cast
in a named role.
Melanie Hunt
Soprano, "Crowd Member #1"
Overly confident diva. A bit of a mean girl, but puts on the
fake nice candy coating when needed.
Suzie Jones
Mezzo Soprano/Soprano, "Crowd Member #2"
Very sweet, naive. Not the sharpest crayon in the box, but she's
a beautiful color.
Paul Simmons
Baritone, "Sven the apple picker and various parts of the
interactive hillside". The heartthrob and he knows it. Often
gets cast more for his muscles than his talent.
Hans Gutenberg
The director. Almost made it as an actor and now tries to relive
his glory days through directing… although in much smaller
venues.
Cynthia or Ben Gutenberg
The music director and choreographer. Lives and breathes
musicals. The Sound of Music is closest to their heart.
Married to Hans Gutenberg.
Stagehand
Dressed in all black. No nonsense. Hard worker. A bit gruff.
